TTNA offers Firetube boilers for gaseous, liquid and solid fuels, with 3-pass and 4-pass full wet-back design configuration for maximum efficiency and steam output. With full wet-back design the flue tube, convective tube passes and the rear combustion reversal chamber are fully surrounded by water providing a safe heat transfer surface.

TTNA Firetube boilers are available for hot water, saturated steam as well as superheated steam with an integral superheater.

Design & Construction Features

  • Full wet-back design with no refractory provides highest thermal efficiency and reduces thermal stress on the tubesheet
  • Computer rating and optimized design to provide maximum steam generation per unit of heating surface
  • Carefully matched combustion system and boiler to maximize combustion and steaming performance
  • Conservatively sized furnace for low heat release rates and reduced thermal NOx production
  • Furnace with corrugated flue tube or stiffener rings to take care of thermal expansion and reduce thermal stresses
  • Full wet-back design and liberally sized boiler provides for large water volume, steam storage space and steam disengaging area to maintain steam output and steam quality during load swings

  • Normal water level kept well above the last row of tubes providing sufficient margin to ensure boiler safety

  • Balanced draft operation with optimum excess air design to achieve complete combustion and lower emissions
  • Ergonomically designed fire doors and ash discharge openings to facilitate ease of fuel feeding and ash removal.
